Orange Wheels
Oranges have been used in cocktails since the early days of bartending, adding a sweet and tangy citrus note that complements many spirits. From a traditional Old Fashioned to a bright Negroni, orange wheels are a versatile garnish, enhancing both taste and presentation.
Recipe: Orange Whiskey Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Whiskey
- 1 oz Fresh orange juice
- 0.75 oz Lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Simple syrup
- Orange wheel (garnish)
Tools:
- Rocks glass
- Shaker
- Barspoon
- Citrus squeezer
- Cocktail strainer
Method: Add whiskey, fresh orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker. Shake with ice and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange wheel.
